Compensation: Up to $125000 depending on experience

Position Summary
The Vice President of Social Enterprise (Retail) is a senior executive responsible for the strategic development operational oversight and financial performance of the Agencys retail and social enterprise initiatives across all business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) channels.
This role ensures that retail growth and operational excellence align directly with the Agencys mission to support survivors of domestic violence. Through its social enterprise model the Agency creates meaningful employment pathways for survivors reentering the workforce. The VP of Social Enterprise leads with both business acumen and trauma-informed leadership ensuring that retail operations generate revenue while fostering dignity stability and empowerment for participants.
This executive must possess the ability to mentor guide and support Agency clients as they navigate workforce reentry during challenging life transitions demonstrating strong emotional intelligence cultural responsiveness and relational leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with the agencys mission and strategic goals.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities for expansion and innovation that align with the agencys values (B2B B2C E-commerce Retail).
  • Oversee day-to-day retail and associated business operations to ensure efficiency and profitability to support agencys programming and strategic vision.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets including revenue forecasting.
  • Develop and distribute appropriate dashboards and reporting to executive leadership of key performance indicators (financial customer satisfaction sales targets etc).
  • Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience and developing brand loyalty.
  • Lead and mentor retail management teams fostering a high-performance culture within trauma-informed and survivor-centered employment practices.
  • Evaluate new markets for retail expansion and develop entry strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing merchandising and supply chain teams to optimize product offerings and promotions.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a Business Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 10 years of progressive leadership experience in retail or social enterprise operations.
  • Strong strategic planning and financial management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Deep understanding of retail operations sales merchandising and customer experience.
  • Proficiency in retail technology and analytics tools.
  • Experience working within a nonprofit organization is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed employment practices and implicit biases is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • This position requires occasional flexibility in work hours commensurate with the requirements of retail and merchandising endeavors.
  • The physical demands and work environment are representative of that which will be required by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
