Job Summary

Seeking an Assistant Teacher who engages well with preschool age children in afternoon activities in the classroom gym play and outdoor play.

Responsibilities:

-Help to establish a faith-filled positive structured and creative preschool classroom.

-Follow state licensing guidelines including maintaining an accurate student count and keeping all children within sight and sound.

-Arrive to school at 12:00 pm Mon-Fri.

-Coach the children in their play/interactions throughout the day rather than supervising and then intervening.

- Assist the Lead Teacher

-Maintain awareness of allergies within the classroom.

-Clean tables before and after the children eat.

-Attend preschool/school staff meetings as required.

-Additional responsibilities as determined by the director.

-Limited Part-Time: 19.5 hrs. a week (Monday-Friday 12:00-3:30 and able to stay until 5:30 1 day a week).
