As an Account Manager Clinical Business and part of the UK and Ireland Sales Team you are responsible for the sales of our biomedical products to our clinical and translational customers in the South West UK (incl. London Oxford and Cambridge) and Ireland. A key part of your role is to support and advise our customers in their clinical applications.
- You will manage and advise the existing customer base as well as key opinion leaders in the fields of cell therapy hemato-oncology and graft engineering within your sales territory and will be responsible for independently acquiring new customers.
- You will be responsible for the introduction and presentation of new products to existing and new customers and will also support them through after-sales activities. This includes planning and conducting customer seminars and product demonstrations in collaboration with our clinical application specialists on site.
- You hold direct revenue responsibility for your sales region.
- As an expert for our clinical product portfolio you will represent Miltenyi Biotec at trade fairs and congresses as a point of contact for new customers and interested parties.
- Through the feedback you gather from the market you support regional market analysis and work closely with colleagues from other sales teams.
Qualifications :
- You have successfully completed a degree in natural sciences or biomedicine (or comparable; ideally with an immunology focus) or bring relevant professional experience. A PhD is advantageous but not required.
- You enjoy selling biomedical or scientific products and ideally have already gained initial professional experience in this field.
- You stand out due to your strong communication and presentation skills and persuasiveness is one of your strengths.
- Your place of residence is within the advertised sales region; you work from a home office and bring a high willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland (80%). You independently organize your appointments.
Additional Information :
A valid work permit / residency and full clean UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
