System Support Engineer
Job Summary
- Monitor production systems servers and applications to ensure uptime and performance.
- Perform regular system health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve Level 1 & Level 2 technical issues.
- Log track and manage incidents through ticketing systems.
- Provide technical support to internal users and external clients.
- Assist with system configurations deployments and patches.
- Support system integrations and data-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
- Work closely with developers QA and infrastructure teams.
- Support system releases and deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field.
- 25 years of experience in application/system support.
Strong knowledge of: Windows/Linux operating systems SQL databases (basic querying & troubleshooting) and Application logs and monitoring
tools - Experience working with ticketing tools (e.g. Jira ServiceNow).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPN).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in shifts or on-call support if required.
