The role

The Fundraising Relationship Specialist provides high-quality relationship and operational support within the Fundraising team ensuring donor engagement activities are well coordinated professional and strategically aligned.


The role supports Gifts in Wills Mid Value Donor Program and donor care programs by strengthening donor stewardship and assisting with systems data documentation and communications that enable teams to work efficiently and deliver a deeply connected donor experience.

This is a permanent role with the flexibility to be 30.4 to 38 hours per week (0.8FTE 0.1FTE) based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications with a major in one of the following fields Business Administration Marketing Communications AdvertisingMediaor equivalent level of experience.
  • 3 years of experience within a relationship management administration or marketing based role.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills with clear ability to relate to people of varied ages and cultural backgrounds whilst maintaining respect and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a donor pipeline and deliver against revenue and relationship KPIs.
  • High level attention to detail quality control and adherence to administrative procedures.
  • Excellent qualities in negotiation tact discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A commitment to donor-centred fundraising and the mission of the Childrens Hospital Foundation.
