Job Summary

AtSuperior Ford we are seeking a highly motivated dependable customer focused individual with excellent communication skills to provide parts and accessories to retail internal and wholesale customers.

This is a union position. Excellent benefits offered including medical dental pension etc.

Job Summary: The Parts Counter Person must effectively work with the parts inventory catalog and DMS to provide excellent service to our customer base.

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

  • Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock

  • Complete special order part request for the customer

  • Communicate with customer on parts status

  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Understand and follow federal state and local regulations applicable to industry

Parts Counter Person Requirements:

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

  • Ability to identify the problem quickly

  • Knowledge of automobiles

  • Effective analytical and communication skills

  • Strong reading computer and mathematics skills

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

  • Basic computer skills

  • Positive friendly attitude

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented have a professional appearance and strong work ethic

  • Shift is Monday - Friday (9:30 -6pm)
