Job Description
As a Security Officer - DoD Security Clearance in Saint Louis MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a cutting edge aerospace and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access to buildings production areas and other restricted spaces by checking identification coordinating visitor processing and maintaining security-related logs and documentation.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces exterior grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear timely security-related reports including incident reports shift activity summaries and observations related to hazards maintenance issues and/or unusual conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security experience.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
