This is a driving post supporting mobile patrol coverage and timely response. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients guests and store associates by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor entrances and exits receiving areas parking lots and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe customer and employee activity for potential policy violations and/or suspicious behavior and document observations according to post orders and reporting requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with store management and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
• Complete routine security-related reports incident documentation and shift logs and communicate clearly during shift transitions to support consistent site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
