Reports To: Business Excellence Manager/Lead

Work Schedule: 9am-6pm M-F

Job Dimensions

Management: Individual Contributor responsible for the analysis and documentation of process and functions to be migrated into the Manila SSC

Geographical Scope: Affiliates in scope covering MS EP in Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa regions

Functional Scope: May cover any of the following functions: Accounts Receivable (O2C) General Ledger (R2R) and Accounts Payable (P2P).

ACTIVITIES

  • Managing the full transition process of affiliates from on-boarding to stabilization completion of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the processes to be migrated
  • Ensuring that the Affiliate and SSC teams adhere to the core model as defined during the Project Phase and limit deviations. Escalates deviations to the Central Team for validation and decisions
  • Preparing training material and delivering technical trainings to the Operational Teams
  • Verifying and giving the internal sign off on procedures created by team members during the knowledge transfer phase and continue owning the updating of the same;
  • Acting as process expert for the SSC controllers and anyone else in the business for any process clarifications/system issue
  • Driving process excellence and continues improvements (efficiency consistency and automation) in all processes and domain expertise to enhance internal customer satisfaction and efficiency
  • Defining reporting and analyzing KPIs and SLAs root cause analysis of issues. Monitor and implement SLA.
  • Communicates identified potential risks/issues with the Philippines team.
  • Interfaces with the Philippines teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Constant communication and interface with a wide set of internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to SSC Philippines Central Team and Affiliate Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Dynamic and fast paced environment potential for high degree of travel
  • Environment of constant change management

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensures that assigned migration scope is delivered within the project timeline cost and quality assumptions.
  • Ensures that all gaps versus the Core Model are properly identified documented and managed for each of the in-scope countries
  • Ensures that process documentation and training are completed prior to transition ramp up
  • Ensures that all related parties have signed off on all toll gate criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience of 5-7 years in a Shared Services Center or Business Process Outsourcing environment particularly in Finance & Accounting Activities.
  • ERP experience in SAP environment is required
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a high advantage
  • Transition or migration experience is a must specifically in the RTR process
  • Process improvement or OPEX background in finance processes a very strong advantage
  • Experience in Operational Management required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field CPA is an advantage
  • Skills: Proficient in SAP Project Management (models principles and tools) knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodology is an advantage
  • Competencies: very strong organizational and communication skills ability to convince various stakeholders detail and results oriented with an analytical mindset with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
