Job Summary

Lamoille South Supervisory Union seeks a highly skilled Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Superintendent and central office leadership. This full-time year-round position plays a key role in the effective operation of the districts central office and its communication with schools families the School Board and the broader community. Key responsibilities:Serve as primary administrative support to the Superintendent managing a complex calendar scheduling meetings school visits and events and ensuring the Superintendent is prepared with necessary materials and as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders seeking access to the Superintendent including administrators staff School Board members families community partners and state and local edit format and proofread correspondence reports policies presentations newsletters and other communications on behalf of the Superintendent and central preparation compilation and distribution of meeting materials for leadership team meetings and other central office meetings; record and maintain accurate minutes and follow-up action items as organized electronic and paper filing systems for the Superintendents Office including confidential personnel student legal and negotiation files in compliance with applicable laws and district School Board-related functions as assigned which may include assembling agenda materials coordinating meeting logistics and maintaining records and policy and prioritize incoming phone calls emails mail and visitors using judgment to handle routine matters independently and to route issues in coordinating district events such as openings community forums staff recognition events and Superintendent-led and help track timelines deadlines and compliance-related tasks for the Superintendents Office and central office backup support to other central office administrative staff and collaborate to ensure smooth office :Associates Degree or equivalent preferred; additional coursework or degree in business office administration public administration or a related field or more years of increasingly responsible administrative or executive assistant experience preferably in a public school district or similar public-sector/educational ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and proficiency with office technology and software including word processing spreadsheets presentation tools email calendars and virtual meeting written and oral communication skills including the ability to draft clear professional correspondence and to interact effectively with a wide range of organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks meet deadlines and work independently with minimal attention to detail and accuracy in all work products including documents data entry and experience working in a fast-paced service-oriented environment requiring flexibility problem-solving and sound year compensation and reports to:Position type: Full-time year-round (12-month) exempt/confidential location: Central office in Morrisville Vermont with occasional evening or early morning commitments for meetings and to: Superintendent of and benefits: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package commensurate with experience and aligned with district policy and process:Interested candidates should submit a cover letter résumé and three current professional references (including at least one direct supervisor) via SchoolSpring or by email to .
