About the Role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to deliver high-quality A Level lessons that inspire intellectual curiosity and analytical precision. Economics is a popular subject within the Sixth Form with strong uptake and excellent outcomes.

You will be responsible for teaching key microeconomic and macroeconomic principles developing students data analysis skills and encouraging application of theory to contemporary global issues. The department fosters discussion-led learning independent research and critical thinking.

There may also be the opportunity to contribute to GCSE Business Studies depending on experience.

Experience and Qualifications

Ability to teach A Level Economics
Degree in Economics or a related discipline
PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and ability to stretch high-achieving students
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Legal right to work in the UK
