ABOUT THE TEAM
Alpha Alternativessits within PSPs Global Alpha group with a mandate to provide complementary alpha strategies that are less correlated to the Total Fund over the long term. The Integrated Strategies team is part of Alpha Alternatives and invests through a combination of external hedge funds directinvestmentsand co-investment partnerships.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As anInternAlphaAlternatives(IntergratedStrategies)youll:
Provideoverallsupport to the team to enable efficient decision-making and execution of transactions
Financial modellingand risk analysesonvariousinvestments across the capital structure
Proactively engagingin fundamental research as it relates to existingand newpositions
Assistingthe team with special projects andperformingportfolio analytics
WHAT YOULL NEED
Enrolled in aBachelor or Masterprogram ideally with a concentration inFinance and/or a quantitative field (financial engineering statistics economics etc.)
Effective communications skills both written and spoken
Ability to navigate afast-paceenvironment witha high levelof autonomy
Attention to detail and rigorous approach to researchanalysisand documentation
Demonstrated initiative and curiosity to look beyond surface facts and conduct comprehensive fact-based value-added research
Eagerness to learn ideate and innovate
High levelofproficiencywith MS Office(such asExcel)
Experience in financial modeling and financial analysis (knowledge of Bloomberg and other investment software an asset)
Pursuing a CFA designation an asset
Good communicationsand writingskills in English
Communicationand writingskills in Frenchan asset
Scheduled tograduate in Fall 2026(orearlier) an asset
