Lab Technician
Location: Garland TX
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift MondayFriday)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to join our team in Garland TX. This role is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by performing routine testing documenting results maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory testing and sample analysis according to established procedures
- Accurately record analyze and report test results
- Prepare samples solutions and testing materials
- Calibrate clean and maintain laboratory equipment
- Follow SOPs safety guidelines and quality control procedures
- Maintain detailed documentation and complete lab reports
- Assist with troubleshooting testing discrepancies
- Maintain an organized and compliant laboratory environment
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology Biotechnology or related science field preferred
- 1 year of laboratory experience (academic lab experience acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of lab equipment and testing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling lab materials
Preferred Skills
- Experience with quality control testing
- Familiarity with GMP or ISO standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
