Position: Business Analyst (Liabilities Analyst)
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid after training)
Assignment: 04/01/2026 to 11/06/2026 (possible extension)
Pay Range: $36 hourly paid weekly.
Schedule: Monday Friday 8am-5pm (3days in office2 days remote every week)
Job Description
The Liabilities Analyst in Corporate Treasury Operations supports end-to-end operational delivery for Global Markets activities including sales trading and underwriting across securities FX fixed income exchange-traded and OTC derivatives. The role manages settlements with Issuing and Paying Agents (IPAs) and ensures timely accurate processing of principal and interest payments on wholesale banking products. Working under general supervision the analyst follows established procedures maintains accuracy and compliance and supports multiple Lines of Business.
Responsibilities:
- Process cash movements under strict internal and external deadlines.
- Maintain accurate client portfolios using internal and external reconciliation tools.
- Conduct research and moderately complex analyses including handling exceptions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes reduce risk and enhance client experience.
- Collaborate with trade support sales support and external agents.
- Prepare reports and coordinate with internal partners for client and regulatory reporting.
- Escalate risks and exposures promptly.
- Support ad-hoc projects new processes and cross-functional initiatives.
- Independently meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word Outlook and Access.
- Experience with data analysis database maintenance data cleansing and reporting.
- Ability to quickly learn multiple software applications.
- Bachelors degree in business finance accounting economics or related field
- 2-5 years of financial services experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Use of computers and technology
