Hunter Savage a specialist legal recruitment consultancy led by Ronan Savage is instructed on an exciting opportunity for an Associate Banking & Finance to join a leading international law firm in London.
This Associate Banking & Finance role is suited to a UK-qualified solicitor with 13 years PQE seeking exposure to high-quality transactional debt finance work within a recognised City platform. The successful Associate Banking & Finance will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex cross-border matters with genuine responsibility from an early stage.
The team advises a broad lender and sponsor client base and offers a collaborative well-resourced environment with clear progression prospects.
Practice Focus
The role focuses on non-real estate finance transactions including:
- Leveraged and acquisition finance (including super senior lenders)
- General corporate lending
- Receivables and asset-based lending
- Loan trading and balance sheet transactions
You will draft and negotiate facility and intercreditor agreements manage conditions precedent and closing processes liaise directly with clients and contribute to business development initiatives. Early client contact and transaction management responsibility are key features of this position.
Candidate Profile
- UK qualified solicitor with 13 years PQE in Banking & Finance
- Strong technical grounding in debt finance transactions
- Confident drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven client exposure and desire to progress within a leading practice
