As a Vice President or Associate in the EMEA Emerging Markets Credit team you will cover corporate and financial institution clients across the Emerging Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. You will work closely with business partners across the region including Debt Capital Markets Acquisition and Leveraged Finance M&A Corporate Bank Markets Treasury Services and Trade Finance. Given the broad sector and client base covered we focus on performing credit analysis on investment grade and non-investment grade clients across corporates financial institutions and sovereign-related entities as well as structuring and documenting a wide variety of credit products.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Strong analytical and credit skills/judgment covering both qualitative and quantitative aspects.
- Demonstrable product knowledge of a wide range of lending derivative and treasury services products and associated documentation.
- Established team player with project management skills and ability to take end-to-end ownership of work/projects.
- Ability to take an active role in identifying key issues and concerns relating to clients their industries and transaction structures.
- Ability to establish credibility and trust with clients internal business partners product specialists and credit officers and to partner with them effectively.
- Ability to foster relationships and confidently interact with origination teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Self-starting result-driven able to multi-task with a risk-reward mindset and adaptability given the dynamic nature and timing of workflow.
- Coaching and development ability towards junior colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in roles with relevant skills for this position
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Previous experience reviewing and commenting on loan documentation and core corporate derivative documentation.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to navigate financial models as well as Microsoft PowerPoint Word and Outlook.
