Application and Integration Analyst

Job purpose

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Technology Architecture & Delivery this position is responsible for process analysis system design program and file design application and integration development and testing. The incumbent to this role must be able to lead the efforts of third-party application and integration development vendors ensuring accuracy of solutions against business and technical requirements and that the highest development standards are upheld. A member of the Design and Delivery function the incumbent to the role is expected to take a lead role in projects and IT enhancements (continuous improvements) that are system application and integration oriented offering subject matter expertise and workable design/solutions.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of application and integration components of projects initiatives IT enhancements and continuous improvements ensuring strict adherence to business requirements and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders like Business Solution and Technical Architects and IT Operations for requirements management change management and to ensure IT strategies align with business goals and outcomes.
• Performs systems analysis and creates designs and technical specifications that satisfy business requirements.
• Required to oversee the design and delivery of application and integration coding testing debugging and documentation carried out by third party vendors and partners.
• Ensure smooth transitions to IT Operations for production support and maintenance of applications and integrations.
• Primarily achieve business outcomes by excelling at vendor management and delivering using external resources and talent (outsourced)
• Provide consulting support and delivery expertise to Manager Technology Architecture & Delivery Technical Architect Business Architects and IT Operations within projects and IT enhancements (continuous improvement) initiatives to ensure the outcomes are aligned with the development and technical capabilities of applications.
• Anticipates downstream impact as a result of proposed changes and works diligently to minimize or eradicate risk to the business as a result of changing business or technical requirements.
• Work collaboratively across the enterprise along with customers and vendors to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with business requirements and outcomes.
• Required to lead projects and/or act as the lead analyst on projects.
• Prepares reviews and approves software developed by other team members/partners for implementation to the production system.
• As necessary urgently respond to day-to-day support escalations to ensure business continuity and service delivery in a 24/7 environment.
• Is a member of a team of SMEs each specializing in critical business systems such as the ERP WMS S&OP and other related business systems ensuring a comprehensive expertise across all vital areas.

Qualifications

• This position requires a university degree preferably in computing science or business with a major in information science or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
• This position requires exceptional problem solving skills. The individual in this role must be analytical curious methodical and detail oriented.
• In addition they must be able to demonstrate skills in developing documenting and maintaining application software on multiple platforms.
• Ability to effectively participate in multiple major projects or project roles at one time
• Knowledge of JD Edwards applications and technical structure is essential
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to effectively manage vendors/third parties with minimal direct supervision
• Experience leveraging AI/ML to optimize application and integration processesautomating workflows enhancing data analysis and improving interoperabilityand implementing AI-driven solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and API-driven architectures (e.g. Azure Logic Apps AWS API Gateway) to enable scalable and secure solutions. Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise application integration
• Experience with AI-driven automation and RPA tools to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency
• Experience with data integration tools and building pipelines for analytics and reporting not required but considered an asset (e.g. Azure Data Factory Data Bricks Snowflake)
• Experience with legacy programming RPG CL SOAP JAVA considered an asset

Salary Transparency: High Liner Foods compensation offerings are founded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $80760 - $107580; the base pay is offered based on a variety of factors including geographical market location and may vary depending on job grading practices job-related knowledge skills experience and internal equity factors. As part of our total rewards offering employees may be eligible to participate in an annual short-term incentive program and long-term incentive program (for Dir) subject to program eligibility requirements.
