Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking a theatre receptionist to join our theatre team on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.

As a Theatre Receptionist your responsibilities will include:

All administrative tasks in the operating suite

Input operation usage into the patient management system

Maintain effective filing systems of archived documentation current documentation and electronic data.

Any duties deemed necessary by the NUMs to ensure perioperative services continue.

Work collaboratively with nursing staff and visiting medical officers and visitors

Essential Criteria:

Experience in a hospital administration environment preferred

Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision

Excellent customer service organisational and communication skills High level attention to detail

Flexibility reliability and ability to work under pressure

Excellent time management skills with an ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A basic understanding of Medical Terminology

Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel & Outlook)

Desirable criteria:

Experience with Webpas Medical System
