Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in the ServiceNow platform and backend system development. The ideal candidate will design build and scale backend systems that process events from Windows-based client-server applications while partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality production-ready solutions.

This role requires strong system design skills hands-on development expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and scale backend systems that mine and process events from Windows client-server applications.
Develop and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform using scripting and platform capabilities.
Translate product requirements into scalable and well-architected technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams from design through delivery.
Build flexible and modern UI components where required.
Ensure high-quality code through automated testing design reviews and best engineering practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems in production environments.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production-grade deployment processes.
Apply AI-powered tools or workflows in engineering or data analysis where applicable.

Required Qualifications

6 years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality production-grade systems.
Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform including scripting and custom development.
Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and system design.
Experience with automated testing CI/CD pipelines and modern development tooling.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed environments.
Working knowledge of databases and backend system architecture.
Experience collaborating with product teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of C and/or C#.
Experience working with Windows client-server applications.
Exposure to AI-powered tools or AI-driven workflows.
UI development experience is a strong plus.
Experience building scalable enterprise applications.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
