Job Summary

Solution Architects

Contract Length: 12 months (Poss T2P)

Interview process: Video then onsite prob 3 rounds in total. If out of state will stay with videos but will require additional steps during the video interview
Location: DMV Only Hybrid position onsite 1x per week in-person in Reston VA is required PI Planning happens every quarter
which will take 2 days to complete.

Seeking a Solution Architect who can take the Enterprise Architect-s vision and build out the solution for the Application Architect to execute/implement the EA-s design.
HM wants Solution Architects (not application architect or developers) with healthcare insurance domain (Claims enrollment benefits etc..) with some understanding of AWS Cloud (does not have to be an SME in cloud but must have some sort of cloud experience to ensure transfer from on-prem to cloud is possible has to know how his/her current work can extend into the cloud).

The tech skills: Safe/Agile Java Spring Boot Angular/UI Db2 database any security controls AWS API integration healthcare exp is required
Healthcare insurance/payor exp is 1000% required
Strong Business Acumen is important. When he asks for high level design architecture plans he wants someone that can actually discuss and defend their actions from the business requirements. Able to describe the concept and a high level/100K ft view is important not just in the weeds keyboard activities. How to build a solution!
Outstanding presentation abilities - will be presenting to VP personnel to discuss the solutions must have strong comm. skills
AI/ML background is a huge plus

Required Skills
Education Level: Bachelors Degree is preferred
Experience: 8 years experience as a Solution Architect
Must have Healthcare Industry background in either Claims or Enrollment domains
Must have technologies Java Spring Boot API/Web Services Angular/UX DB2 AWS Cloud
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop high quality solutions in a SAFE/Agile framework.
Background in translating business strategies into Technical solutions ability to align new capabilities with current enterprise-wide guidelines / principals to make sure they are using the approved technologies and patterns align new product designs with current product mgt roadmaps provide end to end architecture design for any feature/product/capability lead and author the architecture design documentation working with other domain architecture in different domains for documentation purposes create design documents that will then be followed by development teams for execution make sure any issues are resolved at the architecture/design level accountable for end to end delivery of new product features at the design/roadmap level.
Ability to coach delegate and develop architects and engineers
Ability to managing cross-domain architecture solutions and issues
Expertise with domain related architecture frameworks methods and tools.
Effective organizational interpersonal/relationship management analytical communications (written and verbal) and collaboration
