We are seeking a skilled and motivatedAzure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft BI technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) SQL Server Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics. This role demands a blend of software engineering data architecture and ETL development skills to design and implement scalable data solutions in a cloud-first environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5YOE working in BigData roles ETL development process
• Hands-on in Azure Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipeline development. Building/maintaining pipelines mapping data flows parameterization triggers integration runtimes (self-hosted & Azure) and CI/CD for ADF.
• Advanced SQL/TSQL and ETL skills. Complex joins window functions CTEs MERGE patterns incremental loads SCD handling and performance tuning (indexes stats query plans).
• Experience designing lake zones (raw/bronze curated/silver semantic/gold) Synapse SQL pools (serverless/dedicated) PolyBase/Copy partitioning strategies and cost/performance tradeoffs.
  Power BI development Dataset design DAX for measures row-level security (RLS) performance analyzer usage
• Advanced English level

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Write efficient SQL/T-SQL queries for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL).
• Develop and optimize data models in Azure SQL Server and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Implement data partitioning strategies and performance tuning for large-scale data warehouses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work within Agile teams participating in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Ensure data quality integrity and security across all data platforms.
• Automate data workflows and monitor pipeline performance and reliability.
• Document technical solutions and maintain version control using tools like Git.
