Qualifications
- Masters degree in Theology Divinity Spirituality Religious Studies Pastoral Counseling or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Required
- Must have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Required
- Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a hospital setting. Preferred
Work Experience
- No minimum experience required. Required
- 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery Mother Baby and Womens Services. Preferred
- Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplains denomination/faith group Preferred
- 3 years of successful post graduate pastoral care preferably as a chaplain in a healthcare setting Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed or ordained chaplain and in good standing with their faith tradition. Required
- Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Preferred
- APC Board Certification. Preferred
