Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Bethesda MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating disputes and requesting assistance from emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points observe entry and exit activity and verify credentials visitor logs and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Document patrols incidents and observations in written and/or electronic reports and communicate notable activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of security experience.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
