Deputy Nursery Manager Up to 30000
Join a nursery rated Good by Ofsted with bright well-resourced rooms and a large outdoor space including a mud kitchen and sand area. Children are given time and space to explore while you take a hands-on leadership role in your room. As Deputy Nursery Manager you will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations leading your room and ensuring high standards of care learning and staff practice.
Before You Apply
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
- Recent experience leading a room in an EYFS nursery setting is essential.
- This role is not suitable for applicants without hands-on leadership experience in a nursery.

- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
- Act as a key person maintaining learning journals and tracking childrens progress
- Plan and adapt activities based on childrens interests and developmental needs
- Ensure safeguarding health safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Communicate professionally with parents about their childs development and nursery routines
