As a Shannons Recoveries & Settlements Litigation Consultant youll be responsible for managing a portfolio of motor claims ensuring each case progresses efficiently settlement opportunities are identified and customers are supported with care and clarity. Your work helps customers get back on the road while contributing to fair timely and compliant outcomes.

Youll be trusted to make decisions that balance financial operational and customer considerations. By taking ownership of your claims applying sound judgement and communicating clearly youll create a positive experience for customers and support the broader teams goals.

This role is a 12 month secondment.

• Take ownership of a portfolio of motor claims ensuring they progress efficiently and achieve fair outcomes
• Negotiate settlements and identify opportunities to maximise recoveries
• Provide clear proactive updates to customers and stakeholders keeping them informed throughout the claims process
• Handle complaints and sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
• Contribute ideas to improve processes customer experience and claims outcomes

What Youll Bring

• Experience in motor claims recoveries or settlements with a focus on achieving fair and timely outcomes
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage challenging situations with empathy
• Effective negotiation problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Confidence using claims systems and digital tools
