Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Driver in Auburndale FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols remain highly visible and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post that requires a valid drivers license and you will carry out armed duties while delivering clear communication and customer service. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity teamwork and an agile reliable approach on every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and/or government location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter routes; working conditions may vary by post assignment and operational needs.
- Monitor gates entry points and designated checkpoints verifying identification and/or authorization and documenting arrivals departures and deliveries per post orders.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs report maintenance or operational concerns and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
