We are seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Imager to join our team in our Hiawatha clinic. As an Ophthalmic Imager you will develop an advanced understanding of diagnostic testing and equipment including:

• Provide excellent patient service
• EMR documentation
• Perform Visual Fields
• Take diagnostic images such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
• Fluorescein Angiography
• Fundus and optic nerve photography
• Corneal Topography
• Disinfect and maintain clinical equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and be detailed-orientated
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with staff providers and patients.
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to use sound judgement when making decisions
• Desire for knowledge and additional skills
• Ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel between offices (When traveling outside your base clinic mileage and travel time will be reimbursed)

Preferred qualifications:

• Ophthalmology Optometry or medical experience preferred.

• Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
