Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Test Engineer SMT located in Guadalajara Norte.

Reporting to the Director Program Management the Test Engineers role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment or software and systems testing.
• Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development procurement installation and calibration of instruments equipment and control devices required to test telemeter and record test data.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions incomplete test data data interpretation or coding issues.
• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Develops test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development enhancements test fixtures.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Experience in electronic industry (desirable).

• Designs develops and/or supports environmental test programs procedures and profiles
• Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) activities.
