This role functions as a co-pilot to aSeniorTechnical Product Manager helping to lead the vision strategy and execution of the product roadmap. This role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally connecting the technical and business worlds and to synthesize and demystify unmet and unarticulated business requirements into actionable steps that drive product development. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-value product solutions that improve how we plan and run clinical trials and regulatory submissions for our patients partners and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Analyze business problems and translate requirements into actionable product backlog items and user stories. Incorporate input from Business System Owner (BSO) and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Support product team to prioritize high-impact work and continuously reassess priorities as new insights and data become availableimpact work and continuously reassess priorities as new insights and data become available

  • Maintain and prioritize a healthy backlog of well-formed epics features and user stories which align with the overall roadmap and serve as requirements for the delivery squad based on the objectives and Key results

  • Partner with squad members including but not limited to scrum masters technical lead(s) and development team in release planning to manage high-quality product delivery leveraging Agile and Digital SDLC methodology

  • Conduct and/or participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning reviews retrospectives).

  • Collaborate with engineering and design to ensure work is well refined scoped and ready for delivery; accept user stories before they enter sprints.

  • Provide an escalation point for delivery issues or deconflicting dependencies that affect multiple teams across products. Capture dependencies for execution and focus on reducing impact.

  • Communicate product updates progress risks and plans to stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in IT Engineering Computer Science or related field.

  • 2 years of relevant work experience with some Technical Product Management experience supporting Information Technology Pharmaceutical Research Clinical Trial Operations or related business areas.

  • Experience working in agile environments (scrum kanban) and with agile teams.

  • Hands on with product tools such as Jira Confluence analytics platforms and common collaboration tools; comfortable producing roadmap artefacts and prioritization documentation.

Possess the essence of a Product Mindset - discovery creating delightful user experiences and ensuring strong engineering execution.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders

  • Self-motivated curious and collaborative; able to foster an inclusive team culture across a global organization.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in product strategy and roadmap development

  • Ability to lead continuous discovery activities like user research and usability testing in partnership with UX/Design and BSO.

  • Skilled in maintaining and prioritizing a healthy backlog of epics features and user stories that align with the overall roadmap.

  • Ability to work effectively in regulated environments and partner with clinical compliance and quality teams when delivering regulated features.

  • Experience defining success metrics and continuously measuring and reporting progress against these metrics.

  • Previous experience in Life sciences and Pharma industry or Clinical operations domain
