As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants guests and onsite teams document activity and respond to alarms and access control needs as they arise. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property including common areas parking areas and perimeter noting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and service requests in a calm problem-solving manner; contact site management and/or local emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete routine access control and visitor management duties as assigned such as monitoring entry points verifying credentials and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
• Prepare clear timely documentation including daily activity reports incident reports and patrol logs; communicate observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
