Were looking for a Head of Group Cybersecurity who brings strong governance calm judgement and structured thinking without losing their sense of humour or humanity.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who enjoys building order and resilience in a way that feels practical inclusive and supportive of the people doing the work. Youll lead our cybersecurity capability across the Group ensuring robust protection of our online and instore operations while fitting comfortably into a culture that values openness laughter and bringing your whole self to work.
Youll be joining a capable committed team and will play a key role in gently evolving how we work introducing clearer structure guardrails and consistency while maintaining trust approachability and momentum.

What youll be responsible for:
Strategy governance & risk
- Develop and clearly communicate a 3year cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities and the Groups risk appetite. Oversee your teams budget and keep things on track.
- Provide pragmatic advice and reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee executive leadership and both internal and external stakeholders regarding technology and cybersecurity risk.
- Define implement and continuously improve the Groups cybersecurity policies standards processes and controls ensuring they are understood workable and embedded in daytoday operations.
- Coordinate and schedule compliance activities including risk assessments and internal/external audits and ensure followthrough on outcomes.
Operational leadership
- Lead incident response with composure and clarity advising executives and coordinating recovery in the event of a security incident.
- Oversee vulnerabilities threats and incidents to ensure effective and efficient 24x7 cybersecurity operations.
- Manage investigations and risk findings proposing mitigations and recommended courses of action that balance practicality and risk reduction.
- Stay informed on emerging threats trends and innovation translating insights into clear wellreasoned recommendations for continuous improvement.
People culture & capability
- Lead and develop the cybersecurity team with warmth clarity and accountability creating an environment where people feel supported trusted and stretched to grow.
- Help the team adopt more structured consistent ways of working without losing their collaborative spirit.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 10 years of experience in all aspects of IT at a senior management level.
- 8 years of experience specialising in cybersecurity and risk management in particular secure coding practices and threat modelling.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline.
- Expert knowledge and relevant qualifications of the technical and regulatory aspects of global and local cybersecurity and risk management frameworks and assessment methodologies.
