Position Overview
The Payroll Advisor is primarily responsible for leading the execution of payroll processing outside of the US (EMEA Canada APAC). This role assumes a lead role in daily payroll functions makes efficiency and effectiveness recommendations and serves as a mentor to others on the team by answering team member questions and providing problem solving guidance.
The place of work is Warsaw Poland.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead member of the payroll team; organizing and overseeing the payroll processing outside of the US; including reviewing payrolls and acting as the escalation point for team members.
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Able to complete complex report reconciliation across numerous sources and identify reconciliation errors.
- Triage payroll questions and processing errors to quickly and appropriately problem solve and come to a resolution.
- Identifies payroll process issues and communicates solutions to appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a cross-training plan to ensure proper back-up support for all payroll processes.
- Liaise with internal partners regarding timely benefit enrollments associated payroll deductions leaves of absence and associated pro-rated pay calculations.
- Lead administration of time tracking.
- Lead the year-end payroll processes.
- Ensure employee questions are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Payroll point of contact for internal and external audit requests.
- Other payroll related responsibilities as assigned.
- Able to evaluate routing and high priority tasks to delegate to team members.
- Able to communicate clear and concise messages to internal and external audiences.
- Able to make decisions independently considering multiple data points and sources of information.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability innovation integrity quality and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the companys Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work designated schedule.
- Ability to work on a mobile device tablet or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
Minimum Qualifications
- Commercial vocational training or comparable education or further training.
- 2 years of experience working in a customer focused role requiring attention to detail.
- 2 years of experience in Payroll HR or Finance roles.
- 2 years of experience in a multinational company or supporting multinational companies via third party.
- Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation Email usage and word processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Fluent to read write and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Polish or German is a plus.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP Workday and other relevant payroll tools is a plus.

Salary Range:

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in PL - Warsaw on a full-time basis. This range reflects base salary only. The position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus under applicable company plans.
