AbbVie Scandinavia is looking for a Clinical Specialist (Spasticity and/or Cervical Dystonia) to join our Neuroscience/Therapeutic Neurotoxins (TNT) division.
Based in Oslo Norway your role is to support optimal use of our neurology therapies for post-stroke spasticity and cervical dystonia treatments.
It is critical to ensure that our customers are trained appropriately on our product so that they can use it correctly and deliver optimal benefit to patients. Therefore you have a key position to ensure that practitioners are competent to use our product safely and effectively and you will support the commercial In Field Team in their designated regions in delivering clinical support to their customers and drive use of the product within selected accounts.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Educate and support healthcare professionals with expert clinical and hands-on training
- Improve patient outcomes through safe effective therapy use
- Deliver engaging educational sessions and technical support to clinics
- Build relationships and advocate for AbbVie product excellence
- Maintain up-to-date technical and therapeutic knowledge
- Build trusted relationships with your colleagues both within your department as well as across other departments
- Your knowledge from your meetings and educations in the field is a valuable source of insight regarding information that can impact sales account plans and identification of new business opportunities. Therefore we expect that this person will share their insights with sales and marketing colleagues in the TNT division.
Qualifications :
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is not required. We look for you who today work as a nurse physiotherapist physician or similar healthcare professional (ABPI/local regulatory compliant) and in addition have:
- Proven neurology experience in a clinical environment relevant for the therapeutic area.
- Preferably you have worked as an injector for post stroke spasticity and/or cervical dystonia treatment OR experience in using ultrasound as a tool for identifying muscles OR experience in anatomy and movement analysis
- Confident presenter and educator
- Fluent in Norwegian
- Valid drivers license willingness to travel primarily in Norway occasionally in Scandinavia.
Additional Information :
This position is based at our office in Oslo with travel throughout Norway.
