The role is based at Skrettings headquarters in Stavanger Norway. The work will take place in our innovative and radical Research Centre the Skretting Bubble.

Whatyoulldo

• You will work at the heart of our biotech operationssupporting research& development of new products as well as advancing knowledge about aquatic animal health.

• Conduct analytical tests within R&D projects and support assessment of research results

• Perform in vitro molecular biological (real-time PCRmicroarray) biochemical and cell culture assays

• Support the implementationdevelopmentand validation of new bioassays

• Record dataobservationsand conclusions accurately in relevant systems

• Carry out calibration firstline maintenance and care of laboratory equipment

• Propose improvements to qualityefficiencyand laboratory processes

What you bring:

• Holding a masters degree in molecular biology /biochemistry/cellular biology/biotechnology/biomedicine

• Experience from a R&D laboratory environment

• Experience with real-time PCR analyses

• Experience in cell culture

• Experience in experiment design and statistics isadvantageous

• Willingness to take responsibility and speak up when quality is at stake
