About You
TheCentre Manageris a key leadership role within the Centre forming part of the executive team alongside the Director DeputyDirectorand Research this role you will oversee CCSRIs operations across its diverse functions including research activities events marketing courses and training programs policy initiativesoutreachand related application domains.
You will be accountable for theCentres daytoday operations ensuring all functions run smoothly efficiently and in line with strategic priorities. You will also ensure Centre projects are effectively managed and delivered on time on budget and within scope consistent with the Centresobjectives.
Youllthrive in this role if you enjoy working in an agile constantly evolving environment with a flat structure where collaboration is encouraged across all activities. You are comfortable working to deadlines are a hands-on manager who can engage effectively with partners across the University andexternally andare keen to build strong connections with industry. There will be opportunities to attend events and conferences and to work closely with industry partners as part of the role.
We are looking for someone who:
Hashigh-level interpersonal and professional communicationskills andcan work effectively with individuals and teams with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Brings strong project management skills in an industry research context with the ability to independently manage complex projectsallocateresources meettimelinesand deliver high-quality outcomes.
Demonstrates highly developed written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail in complex reports and applications.
Can work both independently and as part of ateam andliaise confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Has strong diagnosticanalyticaland conceptual skills with the ability toidentifyand drive creative solutions and practical implementation strategies.
Has experience infinancial managementand high-level administration within a complexorganisation.
Is confident exercising professional judgement in interpretingapplyingand adapting policies practices and systems that mayimpactother areas of theorganisation.
Brings demonstrated experience in delivering quality customer service with sound knowledge and consistent application of institutional policies and procedures the ability toprovidehigh-level advice and a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

The RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CCSRI) wasestablishedin 2020 within the College of Business and Law. The focus of CCSRI is to develop multi-disciplinary research relating to theorganisationalhumanand technology aspects of Cyber Security.
