Job Description
We are looking for a Production Operative to oversee daily operations across the Cook Room Pastry Room and De-box Area. You will ensure smooth shift starts maintain efficient production flow and support a team of around 10 colleagues. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading people solving problems and keeping operations running to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Kitchen Manager in the smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Oversee preparation cooking and baking activities ensuring all products meet company standards for quality consistency and presentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety hygiene and quality control procedures.
- Promote a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leader role ideally within food production or manufacturing.
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with production systems
