Head of Food Technology within a strong Design & Technology faculty
Full-time leadership role April start
Our client is seeking an ambitious and innovative Head of Food Technology to join a creative secondary school in Chesham from April. This is a full-time leadership position ideal for a skilled Food Technology practitioner with a strong record of delivering engaging practical lessons and driving student achievement.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the strategic development of Food Technology across KS3 & KS4 with the potential to oversee KS5 provision where available. You will lead curriculum planning assessment and quality assurance manage resources and budgets and mentor colleagues within the department.
The DT faculty benefits from modern food preparation rooms industry-standard equipment and strong technical support. Leadership within the school is supportive and values creativity practical learning and high academic standards.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology with experience teaching to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Proven track record of strong student outcomes
Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
