Would you like a central headquarter position collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders across the world to ensure smooth and efficient TCO Certification

The team you will be part of

At HQ in Ballerup you will report to the Regulatory Certifications Lead and become part of the Regulatory Certifications Team within Corporate Quality. As part of Global R&D we make sure that new and existing products follow applicable regulations as well as a variety of commercial standards.

You will be the first to join a small focused team to manage TCO Certification and you will have a great opportunity to set the direction and contribute to the teams development and strategy to ensure we deliver to GNs sustainability strategy promoting durable and responsible product design and manufacturing.

Oversee TCO Certifications

In the role as TCO Certifican Specialist you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer by Project managing and overseeing our TCO Certifications for a wide variety of products in our headset and video system portfolios across multiple programs simultaneously.

You will be deeply involved in the development projects and work closely with our skilled Engineers and Project Managers to ensure our products conform to the requirements of the TCO Certification framework by gathering comprehensive documentation and conducting relevant meaningful testing and interviews with external reviewers.

Your contribution is appreciated and more specifically you will:

  • Establish and own a solid TCO Certification Process

  • Identify current and upcoming TCO Certification requirements to help the organization address todays challenges while preparing for future demands

  • Manage the TCO Certification process in development projects by:

    • Working closely with different internal departments and external manufacturing partners ensuring compliance with requirements for sustainability anti-bribery E-waste hazardous substances ethical manufacturing practices etc.

    • Identifying and engaging external test labs

    • Preparing requests for quotations

    • Preparing schedules for testing

  • Engage in direct dialogue with the TCO Development by:

  • Acting as Senior Management Representative (SMR)

  • Conducting annual SMR interview with external reviewer

  • Ensure yearly submittal of TCO required templates on e.g. E-waste and responsible mineral sourcing


Doing so you will provide valuable support and guidance to colleagues in HQ as well as our local subsidiaries globally.

To perform well in the role we imagine that you:

  • Have a degree within natural science or engineering

  • Have Project Management experience

  • Are highly detail-oriented

  • Have the ability to work on several projects/tasks simultaneously

  • Have practical experience or a keen interest in working with TCO Certification or other eco-labels

  • Have practical experience or a deep interest in working with sustainability and ESG

  • Have experience in working with Product Certification (EMC Safety and RF) of consumer products and medical devices

  • You communicate effectively in spoken and written English
