Nilfisk is entering an exciting new chapter with the potential upcoming change of ownership. This creates a rare opportunity for an FP&A specialist reshape the future of our performance management framework and financial governance structure across a global organisation.
As part of Group FP&A you will play a central role during this ownership transition where the work will be pivotal in support making structural decisions developing performance management framework and sharpening the forwardlooking insights that guides the new ownership.
Despite the upcoming changes the core of our FP&A operating model remains unchanged: further developing a well-established global planning cycle and maturing our performance framework.
What you will do
The scope of your role will constitute a natural mix of recurring core FP&A activities and driving current strategic and financial topics as our team seeks to support the Nilfisk Leadership Team in delivering on our strategy and goals.
In this role you will lead the global planning process driving input to Group planning and forecasts (budgets quarterly forecasts and ad hoc requests). You will also be heavily involved in developing and driving standardization across Nilfisk while enforcing and advancing our accountability agenda:
Drive and improve the planning cycle: You will own drive and continuously improve Nilfisks planning cycle setting the agenda for a global planning community of 100 highly skilled finance professionals across 40 countries.
Strategic Partnership with Senior Management: Your role involves being a key financial partner to senior management providing data-driven insights and guidance to help set and manage financial expectations.
Continually developing and optimizing FP&A team processes procedures and reports.
Over time you will have the opportunity to drive financial insights and impact this role you will be working with core FP&A activities and contributing to high-level planning budget preparation and business support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drive the planning process and reporting to drive alignment on financial goals.
Developing data-driven insights that guide and support senior leaders.
Collaborating with business leaders to integrate financial insights and foster smart decision-making.
Ensure adherence and compliance to global processes.
In this role you will be working cross-functionally with business leaders as an internal consultant to integrate insights and support optimal decision making. You will prepare ad hoc analysis based on budget/forecast numbers budget-materials and presentations for senior management.

We first and foremost imagine hiring a candidate that has a great drive are curious and wants to learn and challenge status quo. The ideal candidate is comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and can as a self-starter streamline processes with a passion to learn grow and teach. To be successful in this position we are imaging that you have:
2-4 years of relevant working experience e.g. within FP&A transaction service advisory Business Controller or similar
A solid financial toolbox and business acumen which enables you to successfully translate numbers into convincing insights and solve business challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Excel modelling skills (Power BI experience is a plus)
A relevant educational background within Finance Accounting or similar

The position is based in our headquarter in Nordhavn Copenhagen. From here you will be a part of the Global FP&A team with ambitious colleagues across Denmark Hungary and the US. You will interact with stakeholders throughout the global Finance organization. You will report to the Head of Performance Insights & Financial Planning.
