Our content department is looking for an Editor to join the Curriculum team and work on content for our students in Latin America.

Please note that after applying for this position you will be required to complete a test assignment after your Online Introductory Call.

What you will do:

Work within our AI-powered workflow (Smartcat HeyGen Notion) to edit text and video translations.
Review fully assembled courses to ensure nothing is missing meanings are preserved and terminology is consistent.
Edit scripts for video dubbing and voiceovers.
Collaborate with the second Spanish editor and curriculum team to maintain high quality standards.
Maintain the Spanish glossary and style guide.
Work autonomously after onboarding delivering high-quality results in 12 revision cycles.

Requirements:

Native Mexican Spanish speaker with impeccable grammar and style.
English proficiency at B2 level minimum.
Professional experience in editing localization or translation in the field of education online-learning or media (experience limited to journalism marketing or technical documentation is not sufficient).
Strong focus on editing and proofreading for clarity structure engagement and learner comprehension.
Experience working with texts for video dubbing and voiceovers.
Experience working with CAT tools (e.g. Smartcat or similar).
Ability to follow style guides maintain terminology consistency and work with glossaries across large volumes of content.
Comfortable working within AI-assisted localization workflows.
Ability to work autonomously at a Mid / Senior level taking ownership after a short onboarding period and delivering high-quality results with minimal revision cycles.

Nice to have

Experience with AI-generated texts editing.
Familiarity with technical terminology in data analysis machine learning AI or business-related topics.
