About the Role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5. You will play a key role in maintaining the departments strong academic and performance outcomes teaching motivated pupils who demonstrate excellent behaviour and a genuine enthusiasm for the arts.
At GCSE and A Level Music is a popular and successful subject with students achieving consistently strong results and progressing to prestigious conservatoires and universities. The curriculum balances performance composition and appraisal encouraging creativity alongside technical excellence.
Beyond the classroom the successful candidate will contribute to the schools vibrant extra-curricular programme including choirs orchestras ensembles concerts school productions and community performances.
Experience and Qualifications
Ability to teach Music across KS3KS5
Degree in Music or a related discipline
PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong instrumental or vocal proficiency
Excellent classroom management and rehearsal leadership skills
Legal right to work in the UK
