The Role
The appointed Science Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the opportunity to specialise in Biology Chemistry or Physics at GCSE and A Level depending on expertise. The department follows a carefully sequenced knowledge-rich curriculum designed to foster scientific curiosity analytical thinking and strong practical skills.
You will be joining a collaborative faculty with access to modern laboratories excellent practical resources and dedicated Science technicians. Schemes of work and assessment frameworks are well established enabling teachers to focus on delivering engaging high-impact lessons.
Students are respectful motivated and ambitious creating a positive and purposeful learning environment. There is also scope to contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs intervention sessions science fairs and cross-curricular initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
QTS/PGCE and a degree in a Science-related discipline
Ability to teach Science across KS3KS5
Strong practical laboratory skills and subject knowledge
High expectations for behaviour and achievement
