Job Summary

Scope He/ She will drive the technology agenda shaping the digital roadmap and
ensuring that every technology initiative meaningfully supports business KPIs
operational efficiency customer experience and longterm growth. This leader
will evaluate and implement advanced technologies-including AI platforms
enterprise applications POS systems cloud solutions and cybersecurity
frameworks-while ensuring strong governance adoption and ROI. The role
requires a blend of strategic thinking strong stakeholder influence and the
ability to lead a highperformance technology function.

Comments
Technology Strategy & Vision: Identify and evaluate emerging AI automation
POS and retail technology solutions that can accelerate business KPIs. Provide
strategic guidance to senior leadership on technology risks opportunities and
investments.
Solution Architecture & Platform Governance: Lead POCs technology
benchmarks and ROI evaluations for new systems. Ensure seamless integrations
across retail operations merchandising finance supply chain and CRM
ecosystems. Ensure clear KPIs adoption plans and change management
frameworks for all major IT programs.
Adoption Value Realization & ROI: Establish adoption dashboards and value
realization frameworks for all applications. Drive continuous improvement
utilization tracking and optimization of technology investments. Recommend
course corrections on underperforming tools or solutions.
Infrastructure Security & Compliance: Oversee IT infrastructure performance
cloud operations and uptime. Implement security controls risk frameworks
identity and access management and compliance processes. Coordinate IT audit
readiness and closure of audit observations.
Store & Operational Technology Excellence: Ensure high reliability of store
systems: POS payment gateways store WiFi RFID inventory systems and
mobility devices. Lead technology upgrades for new store openings renovations
and omnichannel programs. Proactively resolve operational bottlenecks
impacting store or customer experience.
Vendor & Budget Ownership: Manage key technology partners OEMs and
service providers with strong SLA governance. Lead contract negotiations
license optimization and vendor strategy. Own the annual IT budget aligned
with business priorities.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead mentor and develop a
high-performing IT team with strong execution discipline. Act as a technology
advisor to business leaders across Retail Ops Merchandising Supply Chain HR
and Finance. Build an agile customer-centric innovation-driven culture within
the IT function.
Skills
Required
Strong Experience in the Retail Domain spanning across sourcing supply
chain warehouse management and system integration.
Expertise in handling the Process Management cross-functional team to
automate various business processes.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Experience in analysis implementation and evaluation of IT systems and
their specifications preferably SAP
Ability to make an impact on business through complete adoption.
Orientation towards internal customers.
