The Role

As a Lecturer you will play a key role in designing developing and delivering engaging teaching across a range of business modules. Youll support students both in person and online contribute to assessment and quality assurance and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures seminars and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
• Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
• Set assess and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
• Support students academically and pastorally including those with learning support needs
• Engage with quality assurance processes contribute to module and programme evaluations
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
• Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable

What Were Looking For

Essential:

• A Masters degree in a relevant business-related field
• Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
• A flexible student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
• Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held)

Desirable:

• PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
• Research or enterprise activity involvement
• Teaching qualification
• Experience leading modules or academic teams

Working Hours & Flexibility

• 40 hours per week (schedule may include evenings and weekends)
• Must be flexible to travel between our Wembley and Kingsbury campus locations
