As a Security Officer - Roaming Site Patrol in Sunnyvale TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication observe and report concerns and support access points as needed. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients tenants and guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas common spaces back-of-house corridors and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances loading or receiving areas and restricted spaces; assist with access control by verifying credentials directing traffic flow and/or guiding visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including addressing disturbances supporting loss prevention efforts as requested and coordinating with site management and/or local responders when needed.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
