This team plays a critical role in the development and optimisation of LiSTNRs mobile applications ensuring millions of users enjoy an exceptional audio experience across iOS and Android while contributing directly to SCAs digital transformation strategy and mission to deliver premium audio content anytime in our Sydney office youll work in a fun collaborative environment designed to support creativity and innovation. The office is currently trialling a 9day fortnight with every second Friday off to rest and recharge.A Day in the LifeAs a React Native Engineer Android youll lead the design and development of scalable highperformance solutions using React Native setting a high bar for code quality and best practice through mentoring reviews and technical leadership. Working closely with product managers designers QA and fellow engineers youll take features from concept through to release continuously optimising performance to ensure seamless audio streaming and an exceptional user experience. Youll also keep a close eye on emerging technologies and trends using your insight to help guide strategic technical decisions for the Youll NeedExtensive commercial experience building iOS and Android apps with React NativeStrong commercial experience in native Android development (Kotlin/Java)Advanced understanding of mobile app architectures performance optimization and usability principlesProven experience with native modules and complex third-party integrationsDemonstrated expertise in audio/media applications streaming technologies or entertainment platformsExperience with Expo framework and modern React Native development toolsKnowledge of HLS streaming Chromecast CarPlay/Android Auto integration preferredLet Us Sweeten the Deal!Flexible working options to help you balance work and life.
