Job Description
As a Security Officer - Visitor Checkpoint in Duluth GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will manage access control greet residents and guests with professionalism and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will verify credentials monitor entry points document activity and communicate concerns promptly to support security-related operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or building access points including verifying authorization issuing visitor passes and directing traffic as needed.
- Monitor cameras alarms and communications equipment; document unusual activity and notify appropriate contacts per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community amenities parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
