What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification and credentials managing visitor and contractor sign-in issuing temporary badges when authorized and directing drivers visitors and associates to the proper areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic such as employee vehicles delivery trucks and trailers by verifying appointments seals and documentation as required by site policy and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner completing security-related reports and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as entrances parking lots dock doors and the perimeter noting security-related conditions and communicating findings per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
