Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Point Comfort TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government waterfront location supporting an access control post where you will greet visitors verify credentials manage entry and exit points and conduct routine rounds to help identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors contractors and personnel at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and post orders.
- Operate access control posts by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials managing keys and/or badges maintaining entry and exit logs and controlling vehicle and pedestrian access.
- Monitor cameras alarms radios and access control systems; report irregular activity and document events according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or public agencies when needed and complete detailed reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas checkpoints and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
