As a Security Officer - Flex CRE Concierge in Herndon VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants visitors and vendors by following site-specific procedures property policies and applicable emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk and serve as the primary point of contact for access requests questions and security-related concerns.
  • Support access control by verifying identification issuing visitor passes managing sign-in and sign-out logs and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building entry points to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Receive and route calls emails and radio communications; relay messages to property staff and other authorized contacts as needed.
  • Operate security-related systems such as CCTV intercoms access control software and alarm panels; escalate issues when readings or conditions appear abnormal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to property management and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Document incidents service requests and shift activity in daily logs and written reports using clear factual details.
  • Support package and delivery procedures by directing couriers logging deliveries when required and coordinating with tenant representatives per site policy.
  • Maintain key and credential accountability by following key control procedures and reporting missing or damaged items per site requirements.
  • Assist with after-hours access requests by confirming authorization and following established verification steps.
  • Participate in site-specific drills and training and follow posted procedures for evacuation shelter-in-place and medical response as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
